Not many Pokémon can Baton Pass the move Nasty Plot, so this set is one of Plusle’s claims to fame. Focus Sash ensures you manage to use Nasty Plot or Agility at least once, then Baton Pass to another Pokémon. Sing can be used to eliminate a counter, though the accuracy is very shaky, however it’s your best bet to take special walls out of the game. If you’d prefer to have a chance at taking a few Pokémon down with Plusle before passing your stat boosts, Hidden Power Ice or Grass Knot can be used for more coverage. Maximum Speed is needed to have a chance of making a swift escape when using Baton Pass.Nome Moveset Strumento Abilitŕ Natura Sweeper Focalnastro / Assorbisfera Piů Timida Mosse EVs ~ Fulmine

This move-set focuses solely on taking down as many Pokémon as you can before fainting. Simply Nasty Plot first and then proceed to do as much damage as possible. Focus Sash will allow you to Nasty Plot at least once, but if you can predict a switch by your opponent, you may not need to survive a hit to ensure Nasty Plot is used; then you’re free to use Life Orb in order to do more damage. This set also has access to all three of Plusle’s best offensive moves, providing greater coverage.Nome Moveset Strumento Abilitŕ Natura CounterSash Focalnastro Piů Lesta Mosse IVs EVs ~ Contatore

Most of the time, opponents will try to KO Plusle with physical moves (such as Earthquake), so using Counter with Focus Sash will spell doom for your opponent. The rest of your moves can be used to lure opponents into thinking you have somewhat of a standard move-set, while still offering good coverage like the previous sets. Quick Attack is mentioned for the off chance that the Pokémon attacking you with a physical move also has a Focus Sash, or Counter does not quite KO. Hasty nature is preferred to make sure you take more damage from physical attacks, which is the same reason the low Defense IV is chosen. Using 30 Attack and 2 Defense means your Hidden Power Ice will still be at 70 power.Altre Opzioni
Thunder Wave can be nice if you’d prefer to try and paralyze enemies rather than risk the inaccurate Sing, or you can poison opponents with Toxic instead. Encore and Fake Tears are nice options to try and force switches. Charge Beam could be useful so you can effectively combine Nasty Plot and Thunderbolt into one move slot, and Substitute is also workable on the Baton Pass set. Seismic Toss can work to take down special walls, while Light Screen and Wish are your best support options. Choice Specs can be used for an all out attacking set, but it's generally best to hope for the best with Nasty Plot.EVs
You’ll always want to use 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe with a Timid or Hasty nature. The only reason to try anything else is if for some reason you want to do more damage with Counter, in which case more HP EVs is passable, but not really advised.Considerazioni
Plusle and Minun are cute, though they’re basically rip offs of Pikachu. In terms of battling, they don’t have a great deal to offer unless used in the lower Tiers (mainly NU). Their movepool isn’t too shabby and the Speed and Special Attack / Defense stats aren’t the worst either. If you want to play NU, these are definitely two of the best Pokémon to try. The only difference between the two is Plusle has higher Special Attack, and Minun higher Special Defense.Counters
Almost any average physical attack will come close to KOing them, but that’s why Focus Sash is the suggested item. Priority attacks are a good way of dealing with Plusle and Minun, as even after they take a hit thanks to Focus Sash, you can beat them to the punch before they’re able to Baton Pass. If Grass Knot is absent on a set, Whiscash, Gastrodon, and Quagsire are effective counters, especially the latter whom has access to Haze. Most Grass-types can deal with Plusle or Minun easily if they lack Hidden Power Ice. Camerupt, Steelix, Hypno, Grumpig and Probopass can take pretty much everything our little Electric friends can throw at them. But generally, they won’t be taking more than two attacks from anything even remotely strong.
